A look into where we've been, where we're going, and the memories we've made along the way.

Welcome to the Zeta Tau Alpha Blog! Run by the ZTA Historian Team, this blog is a special look into our passions, interests, involvement, and anything else we could think of. We hope you enjoy!
Where we've been
Since its charter at Virginia Tech on April 29, 1972, Zeta Tau Alpha has served as a strong group of empowered women on campus. A group of women actively involved in community service projects, extracurriculars and making change. The members of Zeta Tau Alpha have always been extremely passionate in philanthropic efforts to promote education and awareness of Breast Cancer and the risks the disease poses on women. We have always been and always will be a group of women built on love, friendship, and lifelong learning.
Where we're going
We are proud to announce that through the hard work of our chapter women, we managed to raise around $90,000 for Breast Cancer Education and Awareness during Pink Week 2021! While we are incredibly proud of the work we have done, we won't stop here. We have set our goal for Pink Week 2022 to raise $100,000 -- a goal that we know will be challenging to reach but through our passion for this philanthropy, won't be unachievable.
Memories we've made
The 2021-2022 year has been nothing short of amazing memories and new adventures with our sisters. The Eta Xi chapter had the pleasure of being recognized on the field of the Washington Football Team's 2021 Pink Out Game for our outstanding philanthropic efforts. In January of 2022, we welcomed the beautiful new members of PC '22 into our chapter. From paint nights to self-defenses classes to movie nights, our sisterhood has grown both in size and in love.
Enjoy
We hope you enjoy what we have in store for you and remember always that love truly is the greatest of all things.
